The Recruit (2003)
James Clayton (Colin Farell) is not acting like an “ordinary” recruit, but he’s the smartest graduate of higher education, and Walter Burke (Al Pacino) wants him for the Agency. James sees CIA as an interesting alternative at a trivial life. Until he becomes a real agent, the recruit has to survive to a hell of a training. With Burke teaching him the game rules, James finds himself some time and falls inlove with a class colleague, Layla (Bridget Moynahan). But soon comes the day when Burke offers him his first mission: to find an infiltrate informer in the Agency.
During his training and his newly assigned mission, he finds that noone is what they look they are, and everything might be just a game, an attempt to test the Agency’s new “acquisitions”.
